Día del Libro – A wHOLAt of books
April 19, 2010
If you still don’t have a sure plan on what to do this coming April 24, Instituto Cervantes Manila offers you a whole day event of book sale (in english, spanish and tagalog), food, poetry reading, freebies (subtitled Spanish movie passes, demo classes, flowers, guided tours), concert and a whole evening of party.
Join us as IC holds its annual tradition called “Día del Libro”. Last year was a blast and I am expecting that it would even be better this year. More than just books, novelty and gift items, IC will have so much more in store for all of us.
I’ve seen their schedule of activities and just to share some of them..
9:00-12:00 La Maleta de cervantes (Video Workshop for Kids)
10 am – Open House
10-6pm Mercadillo de Libros (Book Market)
Sale of books and distribution of flowers @ the Patio
10-4pm – Pintura para niños (Coloring Activities for Kids) @ Salon Rizal del Casino Español
11am – Guided Tour around IC
11:15am – Demo class for Learning Spanish Online @ Sala Multimedia
dot..dot..dot..(and so many others)
Finalmente, one of the highlights of the event (and this is open for everyone) is their “Latin Party”. Meet new/old amigos, have some vinos and simply enjoy the rest of the evening.
Vale, hasta el Sabado!
Instituto Cervantes is located at 855 T.M. Kalaw Ermita Manila. For other details, you may call at 5261482 local 115.
